Welcome to Frisson Event Sync (“the Service”), provided by Frisson Events (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By installing, accessing, or using the Frisson Event Sync Google Workspace add-on (“the Add-on”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Add-on.
Overview of the Service
Frisson Event Sync is a Google Workspace add-on that automates the organization of Google Calendar data into Google Sheets.
Privacy-First Processing: All calendar event processing occurs exclusively within your own Google Workspace environment. No event metadata is ever transmitted to external servers.
Software Activation: To provide premium features, the Service uses a secure external reference solely to verify your subscription status.
Eligibility
To use this Service, you must have a valid Google account, have permission to install add-ons in your domain, and be at least 18 years old.
User Responsibilities
You agree to use the Add-on for lawful purposes and acknowledge you are solely responsible for the accuracy of your calendar data and any payroll or business decisions made using the output.
Data Access and Permissions The Add-on requires certain permissions to operate:
Email Verification: The Add-on accesses your primary Google email address strictly to act as a unique identifier for software activation and subscription cross-referencing.
Third-Party Referencing: The Service communicates with secure databases (Firebase) and payment processors (Stripe) solely to verify active subscriptions. No calendar event metadata is shared with these services.
Subscription, Billing, and Payment
Stripe Integration: Paid subscriptions are managed and billed via Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe’s terms and authorize charges to your provided payment method.
Activation via Email: You acknowledge that the email used during checkout must match your Google account email to successfully activate the Service.
Service Availability
We strive for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted use or compatibility with all configurations. We may modify or update features without notice.
Acceptable Use
You may not use the Add-on to violate privacy laws, reverse-engineer the code, or build a competing product.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights are owned by Frisson Events. You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable license for your own business or personal workflow.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee accuracy or compliance with local payroll laws. You are responsible for verifying all financial data.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frisson Events shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, including payroll miscalculations or data errors.
Termination
You may stop using the Add-on at any time by uninstalling it.
Subscription Lapses: Access to premium features may be suspended if your Stripe subscription is canceled.
Data Persistence: Upon uninstallation, your Google Sheets data remains under your control within your Google account.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as needed. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
